User research

Interviews, surveys, contextual enquiry, and stakeholder workshops. We identify who your users are, what they need, and where the current experience falls short.

Journey mapping and information architecture

Before we design screens, we map how people move through your product. This defines the structure and prevents expensive rework later.

Prototyping

Prototypes start with pen and paper, then progress to interactive visual designs, AI-generated mockups, and working code. Test the experience on any device before committing to a full build.

Interface design and design systems

Clean, accessible UI design at mobile and desktop breakpoints. For larger products, we build design systems with reusable components, design tokens, and documentation that scales.

Usability testing

Conversion optimisation

Understand

We start with what you know and what you don't. Stakeholder interviews, existing analytics, support tickets, and any previous research. This shapes the research plan.

Research

We run the research that answers the most important questions. Sometimes that's user interviews. Sometimes it's task analysis, heuristic evaluation, and session recordings. We scale to what's needed and what the budget allows.

Design and prototype

We translate insights into wireframes, then high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes. You review at every stage and can test the experience before committing to a full build.

Test

Testing is ongoing, not a single step. We test prototypes with users before development, then continue testing during and after the build. Each round reveals friction that gets addressed in the next iteration.

Build or hand off

If we're also building the product (which we usually are), the same team carries the design through to code. If not, we deliver design files, component libraries, and documentation your development team can work from.
