We build products, not just websites.
Real-time interfaces, spatial canvases, gamification, data platforms, and community tools. We design, build, and ship digital products from first concept through to live users.
Products we have designed, built and shipped.
We don't just build for clients. We also design and ship our own products. That means we understand the full lifecycle: product thinking, user validation, iterative development, launch, and what happens when real people start using the thing. We build on open source technologies wherever possible. You own the code, the data, and the infrastructure. No proprietary lock-in.
Our Own Product: InkPunk is a digital social platform for mark makers. A shared spatial canvas where artists spray, earn reputation, and climb the ranks. Built with React, real-time rendering, and gamification mechanics.
Award-Winning Platform: Kaizen Ticketing is a white-label football ticketing platform serving 80+ clubs. We helped designed the UX, built the theming system, and introduced dark mode. Winner of Best Match Day Technology at the 2025 Sports Technology Awards.
What we build
Digital products that go beyond content management into interaction, data, and community.
Social and community platforms
Platforms where users interact, create, and build reputation. We handle the hard parts: real-time updates, content moderation, user progression, and community governance. InkPunk, our own social canvas for artists, is a working example.
Design systems and theming
For Kaizen Ticketing, we designed a comprehensive theming system in Figma and code that skins across 80+ football clubs, with dark mode and accessibility baked in. New clubs need only a colour palette and a crest to get started. Typeface, button style, and other details can be customised further.
Data visualisation and interactive tools
For Publish What You Fund, React-based data platforms that turn complex aid transparency datasets into explorable, filterable interfaces used by policymakers and NGOs. An ongoing partnership since 2018.
Real-time and spatial interfaces
Interfaces that go beyond scrolling: pannable canvases, live collaboration, drag-and-drop editors, and data that updates without a page refresh. When the interaction model is the product, the front end needs to be engineered, not just designed.
AI-assisted prototyping
We use AI tools to build working prototypes fast, testing multiple directions before committing to a full build. Our engineers direct the process and apply professional judgement to every output. All production code is reviewed, tested, and secure.
MVPs and funded innovation
BrandSpark.app, our Innovate UK-funded brand identity tool, went from concept to working prototype through structured validation. We use the same approach for client MVPs: test the proposition before scaling the build.
How we work
Product development is iterative. We ship early, learn fast, and build on evidence.
Product thinking
Before we write code, we define the problem, the user, and the smallest version of the product that tests whether anyone cares. This isn't a phase that ends; it runs alongside everything else.
Design and prototype
Ideas start with pen and paper, then move into Figma and code. We use AI tools to rapidly explore directions as working prototypes, with human oversight at every step. This lets us test more ideas before committing to a full build, where everything is reviewed and tested.
Build in cycles
We develop iteratively, typically in two-week cycles with regular demos. You'll see working software early and often. For Kaizen, this meant shipping theming improvements club by club rather than in one risky release.
Launch and measure
We handle deployment, monitoring, and the inevitable edge cases that only real usage reveals. We stay close after launch and fix what matters.
Iterate
Products aren't done at launch. We use analytics, user feedback, and observed behaviour to improve. Publish What You Fund has evolved continuously since 2018 as policy needs and datasets have changed.
